About

As an extension of DWF’s Legacy Spaces program, this Virtual Legacy Space offers a variety of learning resources and is intended to demonstrate what you would encounter in a physical Legacy Space. Any space can become a Legacy Space, and reconciliation can take place anywhere, both online and in the physical world. We all start our reconciliation journey at different points, and where you are on this path is not as important as your commitment to moving it forward.

While exploring the Virtual Legacy Space , we encourage you to reflect on the true history and lasting impact of residential schools, as well as the stories and truths of Indigenous people, communities, and those impacted by colonization. Our goal is to provide you with tools, resources, and inspiration so you can #DoSomething to contribute to meaningful change in your workplace and community.
